The Staging of Nature in the Works of the Würth Collection
1.11.2019 – 1.3.2020
The exhibition named “The Staging of Nature” features selected works from the collection to explore a broad cross-section of themes relating to nature, taking us from early modernism to the present time.
Throughout the constantly changing course of history, human reflection on nature has remained one of the essential categories of artistic and philosophical thought. Precisely because nature seems to be disappearing in the face of increasing anthropogenic change, including advancing mechanization and destruction, it is more topical than ever. It thus is and will continue to be an important artistic inspirational force, offering a valuable field of experience.
